yesterday was my 25th birthday so we went to do caramel in south lake which you may have seen on tiktok it went viral there was a lot of people there so they were out of a lot of their croissants and pastries and the pastries they did have were frozen so we had to wait a little while for them to thaw so we got the raspberry chocolate the christmas tree two pina coladas an almond croissant and two hazelnut croissants their croissants are amazing they're so crispy and crunchy and flaky and when you open them you can see all the layers inside here's what the inside of it looks like and the end of it was the absolute crunchiest look at all the layers and the flakes on the plate it's amazing this is my dad's almond croissant which i don't want to taste like because i didn't eat it the hazelnut croissant has a paste on the inside and chocolate i would definitely go back just for that croissant the pina colada tastes like coconut pudding or mousse and this was my first favorite pastry the raspberry chocolate had a really strong flavor that was a little bit too much for me but i like the texture outside the christmas tree was my dad's favorite he said it had a subtle sweet taste it was my my husband's least favorite i would go back here but not on a weekend
