Biscuits and brunch? Don't mind if I do. I honestly thought we tried all the brunch spots in Lafayette until my daughter ran across Parrish Biscuit Company. Upon entry, there is a very relaxed vibe with a hint of southern charm. I do suggest that you review the menu before you arrive because you do order at the register and it is self-seeding. They specialize in buttermilk biscuits with a modern twist. They also have a full brunch menu which includes a variety of mimosas. And I just love the custard. Now let's get to the food. My daughter ordered shrimp and grits from the brunch menu. Of course I had to try the gumbo as well as the Acadia which was a biscuit with fish and crawfish etouffee. The shrimp and grits were a 10 out of 10. The Acadia was good as well it was just a lot for me to finish and as you can see the gumbo was delicious. So if you love biscuits brunch a warm atmosphere with friendly service this is the go-to spot for breakfast brunch and lunch. I hope you guys enjoy.
