Have you been to orange hummus in Palo Alto yet? I just had an incredible meal and I had to share. First up I had their refreshing mint lemonade. It was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I also took a sip of the hubby's rich bold Turkish coffee which was also a great start. For appetizers we shared the stuffed dates and I love the sweetness from the dates and the goat cheese with pine nuts was so tasty. Would highly recommend getting all three of their borekas. They had a crispy flaky exterior that I loved biting into and I think the potato ended up being my favorite. But the real highlight was their classic hummus. It was smooth, creamy, and so delicious. I followed the instructions and I ripped, I scooped, and I ate to my heart's content. Next I tried their grilled beef pita. It was so juicy and the fries that it came with were so good. I would highly recommend ordering the shishuka and add the mozzarella and pesto for sure. It was such a unique twist on a classic with layers of flavor. We didn't want to miss out on a lamb skewer so we ordered it a la carte and it was absolutely delicious. To finish things off we got the chocolate mousse which is made in-house and it was the perfect sweet ending. Oh and the service impeccable. Orange hummus is definitely a must try. Trust me you won't regret it.
