Things to do in Chicago with your toddler, part three. We're at the Centennial Aquatic Center in Oakland, Illinois. With the price of your ticket, you get a three-for-one package deal. This aquatic center was split up into three different parts. There's a bigger pool, a waiting pool, and a splash pad. You can bring your cooler and eat in one of the many shaded areas, or you can get a quick bite from one of their concession stands. I went there around three o'clock on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. If you're concerned, about the cicadas don't worry there aren't that many but they are around there's something to do for everyone in your family AND clear action a viewer could replicate (eat there, stay there, book, attend).
