If you're in the DMV and Baltimore area, check out the Maryland Renaissance Festival. It's like stepping into a time machine, but you've got your iPhone and your car in the parking lot. I love it how people get into the spirit. The costumes were amazing, and next year, I'm dressing up. My costume's gonna be a mix of Tyrion, Lannister, meets a Viking. But you know me, I was all about the food. So first up, I had a smoked turkey leg with some meat. And despite all the alcohol I've eaten, on my page this was my first time trying me I tried it cuz it sounds like a medieval drink but it was a little too sweet for me so I switched that out for an IPA I like my alcohol bitter like my shattered dreams of being over six feet tall I then tried a strawberry and cream crate and they looked at me like I ordered pineapple pizza apparently that's an odd request then someone put me on to fried cheese basically a fancy and tasty mozzarella steak I also destroyed some ribbon fries and a pork chop on a stick. That pork chop on a stick, absolute star of the show. Tender, seasoned, and perfect. The performances were hilarious, some pushing over PG-13. I even saw Batman there, and wait, David the Gnome. Anyone else remember that cartoon? The festival is open on weekends, running through October, and tickets are $26 to $32 for adults, 14 to 18. 18 for kids with senior discounts and like and follow your boy for more.
