Have you ever tried puffed pastries on top of your udon bowl? Come with us to Aunt Beer House to try the Asian fusion brunch. For drinks, we ordered the hazelnut coffee, which came with a light, creamy, salty foam that paired so well with the coffee. We also got the butterfly strawberry lemonade, which was so pretty it was giving Instagram photo worthy. Starting with the shrimp and crab udon, we were pleasantly surprised to see a giant puff pastry over our bowl. It was a creative way to substitute the Chinese donut that is normally eaten with this Vietnamese dish called ban khan kuo. Next, we had the garlic butter salmon with noodles. It was extremely flavorful. Getting a perfect bite of the salmon, noodle, sauce, and greens was super delicious. We also ordered the salmon skin salad, which was incredibly refreshing and savory. We love the addition of avocado. Next time you're in the Garden Grove area, check out Alm Beer House for brunch from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
