Have you ever been to a water lantern festival? Well, I went this weekend and I'm going to take you guys with me, so come on. This festival was held at Marcus Park in Lafayette, Louisiana. Upon arrival, I saw people mingling and working on their lanterns. We were greeted with our bags, which included a lantern for us to work on, some playing cards, and some conversation cards. Water lanterns represent sending away disasters and welcoming happiness so there's no rules to making your lantern you can personalize it exactly how you want it whatever your journey is whatever you want out of this you do it we did a few conversation cards after our lantern and started setting up to put our lantern in the water we got a chance to see all the different vendors and there were also food trucks here I was so excited to see how original people were with their lanterns as I put my lantern in the water I prayed and manifested this is a website to see when the next water lantern festival is near you I hope you enjoy
