@charlasfoodies's Review of Taira Sushi&Sake - Garden Grove, California

So we tried this new spot for a friend's birthday and were blown away by how good that omakase was. Like, I couldn't even think of any other words to describe it. It was just good. Starting with a special appetizer, that was good. The simmered beef tongue, that was good too. The sea perch, so good. Amberjack, that was good as well. The halibut from Jeju Island, oh my goodness, that was good. The Hokkaido Scallop, you know that's always good. Then we had the Shima Aji, definitely good. The Bluefin Tuna, Bluefin too good. The Firefly Squid, surprisingly, was pretty good too. Then came the Golden Eye Snapper, that was good. The Ocean Trout, never fails on being good. The Gendara, whatever that was, was taste. good. Hokkaido Uni, man I don't even have to say good because you know it was. The Otoro was goodoro and if you want some of this goodness then definitely check out Taira which you can find in Garden Grove.
