@jesshhiikka's Review of Osteria Savio Volpe - Vancouver, CA

On a warm June evening, we decided to enjoy some contemporary Italian food at Savio Volpe. We were seated in a brightly lit and boisterous room full of happy people. Savio Volpe does offer a family style set menu which is around 5 courses and starts at $74 per person. For starters, we have some albacore crudo, served with different pickles and herb oil. And a salad. of white anchovies, oranges, and a jalapeno dressing. Both dishes were refreshing, light, and acidic, and went great with the wines that we had that night. We especially enjoyed the white anchovies in the salad. Next up, agnolade stuffed with chicken and pork, and an octopus with potatoes and spicy olive tapenade landed. Both dishes were great and well seasoned. The octopus this dish was especially tender. To finish off the dinner, a slice of the chocolate tart and the daily tiramisu special. The tart was not too sweet and heavy, while the tiramisu was light, airy, and had a strong coffee flavor which I personally appreciated. We highly recommend this restaurant for a date night out.
