Hey friends! So one of my best girlies were in town and I had to take her to Cafe Lola. If you're ever looking for a place that serves afternoon tea, this is the spot for you. The afternoon tea came with assorted pastries, lox on toast, and also some avocado egg sandwiches. And of course, your choice of tea. We ordered a bunch of things to try as well. This was a 24 karat gold creme brulee latte and this is something I highly recommend trying. I definitely had to try their matcha because I'm a big matcha girlie as well and it was actually pretty good for being an unsweetened drink. had to order the truffle chips because if you know you know your girl loves truffle and these were so good. The truffle flavor was a hundred percent there. Next up I had their avocado toast. Such a cute name. Next time I see them I'm gonna be like can you avocado me please? Anyways it was pretty good but I definitely prefer mine on sourdough bread. This was the avocado egg sandwich from the afternoon tea. It was a little bit more grainy and texture wise I wasn't a fan. I definitely like my egg salad a little bit more smooth. And last but not least this the lox and it was perfectly delicious it was savory a little salty from the capers which is the perfect touch everything on it brought out the flavor of the lox and it was perfect thanks for watching my friends don't forget to follow me for more
