Checking off a bucket list park today at Morgan's Wonderland. This amusement park focuses on the element of play and creates an atmosphere of inclusion for people with and without disabilities. Morgan is the star here and this park is designed with all abilities in mind. I love the park mascots here, each dressed as a superhero, each with a disability. The park had a massive expansion this year with four new attractions. Rocket's Sky Flight Adventure was my favorite. This 130 foot tall zipline has great views at the top. and can accommodate riders of all abilities. This ride is usually an upcharge attraction at other theme parks, but here it's included with admission. Now the park did a lot of things to make this ride more accessible to all. It offers a vest restraint to help accommodate riders. It also provides a ramp in the loading area to help with loading and unloading. I love the privacy fence around the loading area. This way you can load and unload without an audience. And they even had benches and shade in the queue. I also noticed the music was very sensory friendly. The next new attraction we checked out was the 4D Cinema. We experienced the Mars coaster where you ride a coaster to Mars. The seats would move, blow wind, and even squirt water at you, and also had spaces for people using wheelchairs. No need to worry about getting from one seat to the next, which is also the case at their new Jets Wonder Bikes. And most of the park, honestly. Pirate Island Cruises also is successful. Even the playground equipment has ADA ramps throughout the entire facility. Now, we did have a favorite attraction at the park for sure and it was the war at this attraction you can catch real fish okay you are the fish in this pond are smart they kept stealing my bait running off but my friend Riley here was a big winner yeah he caught a fish reel it in Riley show us what you got oh yep yeah that's a real life fish right there that he caught right there big winner seriously how cool is this I definitely got a little bit more jealous than a grown man should, but look how proud he is. He gets slapped in the face here. Watch it. Now we kept fishing because I wanted to catch a fish, but before I could, Riley reeled in this absolute monster that I did not expect to see in this pond. It's so big that the staff's showing up with nets. They're telling him to be strong, Riley. Be strong. Reel it in. Be strong. We can catch this fish together. Riley can't believe it. I can't believe it. The staff can't believe it. Everybody's just starting to take pictures with this thing here in just a second. I think he definitely had the catch of the day. This thing is like half the size of Riley. Oh my god. Now when you catch a fish, you do get a prize out of a treasure chest. He decided to go with a spiral ring and then gave it to a kid later. For our last ride of the day, we took a very relaxing train around the facility. Morgan's Wonderland is... a place I will always visit when I go to San Antonio. The design of this space is spectacular and it was great to see that their hiring practices were also very inclusive. And it's great to see that the money you spend here helps other special needs individuals of all ages to visit this park. Morgan's Wonderland, you are an amazing space.
