@sunnyonscene's Review of Oceanic - Pompano Beach, FL

We partnered with Oceanic at Pompano Beach Pier to reveal a great Sunday Funday daycation getaway with live music and lively brunch vibes, only steps from the ocean and pier. We started with crispy calamari and while wine seemed appealing, we opted to chase it with their brunch cocktails like the Oceanic Bloody Mary, garnished with goodies, and a refreshing Aperol spritz. Then we tasted some of their fan favorites like their New England lobster roll, their chicken and waffle, and their Oceanic Surf and Turf Benedict. Their lobster roll was overstuffed and delicious on a toasty, buttery brioche with fries and slaw. The chicken and waffle came with an ample portion of sweet tea brine fried chicken and crispy bacon atop a fluffy buttermilk waffle and sauteed bourbon peaches and maple syrup. Finally, the surf and turf Benedict was decadent with creamy hollandaise on one English muffin with crab cake and another with filet. We finished with their key lime pie, some of the best we ever had.
