We're traveling, and that means trying the new Brodart Express at the SNA John Wayne Airport. Just like a plane's altitude, prices here are astronomically high. We thought inflation was real at the regular Brodart locations. Brace yourself. For two shrimp paste spring rolls, you're looking at $9.95. That's $20 for four shrimp paste spring rolls. Did we still get it? Yes. Did we still enjoy them? Absolutely. We also tried their ribeye banh mi. This was $15.95. My heart. Our first time trying the banh mi from Brodart's, and what else did we expect? Loved it. The marinade on the ribeye was delicious. A perfect pre-flight meal, even though we may not be able to afford our flight after this. Eat all the cilantro.
