@flywiththesrys's Review of Trenta - Costa Mesa, CA

Today, we're trying Trenta in Costa Mesa, California. We started with their beef meatballs. Very tasty. These were seasoned very nicely, and look at that cheese pool. We also ordered our waiter's pizza recommendation, which was the Catania. We removed the maradillas so yours will look a little different than this, but the pesto with the bites of pistachio was so delicious, and the cheese was rich. Not that one-dimensional cheese pizza you sometimes encounter. We also got their Tagliatelle al Brasado. I YouTubed that. Please tell me I said that right. I will say that we weren't personally fans of this pasta too much, but the waiter was explaining to us that to get that authentic taste that you get in italy for this dish you actually want a gamey taste to this meat so if you like that this is the pasta for you because they nailed the gamey taste for their short rib we wrapped up the evening with the tartufo al pistachio for dessert another wreck from our waiter we always gravitate towards tiramisu so he helped us venture out to try new things and wow we were really impressed very refreshing after a heavier meal with the dough and the pasta the vibes were immaculate it was a great date night out
