There are plenty of places in the area to get diet food if you want, but this is definitely not one of them. And thank goodness for that, because this was one of the best comfort meals I've had in a long time. Amun's chicken has this thing called cream naan, which I've never heard of before. It's naan, but it's been slathered with a thick layer of cream or malai, and it makes anything you eat so much more unctuous. Y'all, I'm literally having dreams about this lemon chicken gravy. I've never had anything like this before in an Indian restaurant. The sauce was... was tangy, creamy. I really could have drank all of this with a straw. For this one, I opted for a cream roti. So it's like roti that's been enriched with cream. Yeah, there's definitely a theme here. And it just makes the entire situation so much more yummy. Someone said the onions here are fire, so obviously I had to get a bite with those. And yeah, they were right. I love a good marinated onion. And for a more classic flavor profile, you can get the rara paneer. It's cottage cheese cooked in an onion and tomato gravy. And I had this one with garlic naan, another classic.
