If J2 could eat anywhere, it would be here at Taiwan Village. The bento box is cheap, stacked, and everything you want in a comfort feed. Then the gooey oyster omelette is so authentically Taiwanese, it deserves its own passport. The salt and pepper tofu was dangerously snackable, but it was the prawns and pineapple that was a full-on party in my mouth, sprinkles and all. And to finish, the silky red bean tofu pudding was sweet, simple and perfect. There's no wrong order here, just pure, playful, delicious comfort food done right. I promise.
