@beingmolina's Review of tán - New York, NY

A couple weeks ago, I took my best friend to Tan in New York City. It's on East 49th Street, and it is giving Tulum in NYC. Look at these vibes. They are immaculate. I've never been to Tulum, but now I feel like I have. The ambiance is just, it's amazing. So it's a lot of small bites. They do have some larger plates, but we just ended up doing a bunch of small stuff. This was her cocktail, super. smoky so you need to like smokiness to like this cocktail she didn't love it but the presentation was amazing what was definitely amazing was this queso fundido of course we got it with chorizo because you just have to and you're gonna do it and get ready for this delightful cheese pull the service was also really really good we loved our server we got the ceviche which was delicious chef's kiss if you couldn't hear that and it came with these little crispy bits so good we also got sake did you guys know that there's such thing as like mexican sake it was delicious of course we had to get the corn because when there's elote you get elote and you put lime on it it was also divine all of the food we had was really really good the bathroom was a vibe so i took a video in the bathroom because why not and like i said it was her birthday but while i was in the bathroom they bought out or tried to bring out her candle she wanted to kill me but here we are singing her happy birthday it was it was quite a moment she she was just laughing because of how ridiculous it was um i'll have on the screen what the dessert was because i can't remember and then they so graciously which it was way too much bought us out this happy birthday they have a bar on the first floor and rooftop seating for when it's warmer out i highly recommend you guys check out tan
