Let's try some fresh pasta at the Eataly in San Jose. Welcome to La Pizza and La Pasta at Eataly Silicon Valley. I got here before the dinner rush that was nice and empty. Started with the Aperol Spritz. You want to drink this before dinner to stimulate those taste buds. I highly recommend starting with the Fogaccia Bianca, and then you dip it in this rosemary-infused olive oil. This is definitely a musty dub. All right, now on to the main event, pasta. You got the tagliatelle a la bolognese. You got to add meatballs to this. You can thank me later. Then we ended things here with the cacio e pepe. There's only three ingredients. Pecorino romano, black pepper, and pasta. Cacio e pepe literally translates to cheese and pepper. Fun fact about pecorino romano, it's a salty aged sheep's milk cheese that dates back to the Roman Empire. The sharp flavors of the cheese make this simple dish very flavorful. Italy's Silicon Valley even has a Roman-style pizzeria downstairs and a lavazza cafe. I got this creme espresso for dessert. Combines espresso, milk, and cream in a slush. so good see you at the next eat up
