If you're looking for a hearty meal on a budget, this is the place to be. The Eastern Food Bazaar is a canteen-style eatery and a Cape Town institution in the heart of the city. The bazaar offers a range of cuisines from Malay to Indian to Turkish, all delicious and all at bargain prices. I ordered a vegetarian curry with dal and rice, all for R55. But of course, we had to sample a whole lot more of what was on offer. For R200, we got way more. more food than the two of us could finish.
